Well, another great week is on the books. We've had some guests in from various places, and thanks for stopping by.

We have the MMA Camp, Women's Camp, Kickboxing Camp and tons of other events and festivities coming up. Keep training hard everyone. Our next striking testing will be in June. Benton and Hot Springs.

We had a post tournament workshop today, helping everyone fix any mistakes they may have made and capitalize on the things they did well.

Congrats to Poe for earning his blue belt!
After testing his Jiu Jitsu in a MMA Match, 2 local tournaments and spending countless hours on the mats, Poe proved he's ready for blue. He's exhibited the technical prowess and will to wear and defend his rank. To top the mountain Poe won the biggest men's division at the tournament last weekend. Congrats on the hard work.

Jordan also earned one tip on his white belt today. Great job Jordan.

Everyone who competed picked up a lot of experience along the way.

You can check them out as they upload in the gallery HERE

Kids had an excellent showing! Congratulations to you all. I guess all that conditioning we do really pays off.

Congrats! to Nova Teammate Vitor "Shaolin" Ribeiro, who defeated Greco-Roman Olympic silver medallist Katsuhiko Nagata of Japan at Dream 8 in Nagoya, Japan Saturday night!

We also want to congratulate teammate Gustavo Dantas' Team at UFC Fight Night 18 in Nashville. Gustavo had 3 fighters on the card including the main event and came away with two victories! Congrats to Simpson, Bader and all of Arizona Combat Sports!

Well, we're back. We had the most excellent time in North Carolina doing a Seminar at Snyder's LDMA.
This blog is your official proof that I can still do some TKD! Hiiiyaaaaaa! Breaking boards hurts my feet! I enjoyed teaching techniques to the black belts. They are a great group of guys and girls and I really enjoyed it. Jory taught a 4 hour BJJ seminar at the same time. We all got a chance to grapple when it was over, which was quite fun. It was a quick trip, but we got a lot accomplished. It's great training with other folks, because while we are out there teaching, we still pick up things to bring back to make things even better for you all.

We'll have some guests in this week. Speaking of, it's great to have so many girls training in BJJ in Benton and HS. Most of you know we've been training for an upcoming local tournament. We have a lot of newer folks and some of you who are at newer ranking levels. We had some in the 3 month and under last time who will be going up in experience as well as some folks who hold new rank. This local even is a great place to get your feet wet, whether you're brand new or just working on the next evolution in your training. Plus its fun. I'm excited about the Tshirts. Anthony was so kind as to design us a flashy graphic!

I have some exciting things coming for the kickboxers as well. Our custom Fairtex Gear should be in here shortly, as well as some new stuff coming to class. I have something for Tuesdays advanced class. It's going to be fun. Well that usually means fun for me anyways.

Kids, keep training hard.
