It's been a busy week on the REVOLUTION Front!
We had a fun time at the MMA Camp this past weekend.
Our next MMA show will be June 13. It's right around the corner. As a reminder Tickets are on sale at REVOLUTION!
Get your tickets and come to class and find out what you're getting for it this time!
Our new focus mits will be in shortly along with the custom gear. It was clearing customs earlier this week.
Further on the Kickboxing front we have our next evaluation June 6 and we'll be covering footwork, blocking and sparring concepts.
Our next BJJ evaluation will be June 6 and we'll cover an advanced segment on the Spider Guard. Join us for the fun! Make sure you get in for the Thrusday Advanced class as well. We covered some advanced sweeps tonight, and we even let you white belts in on the fun just this once :)
Both evaluations will take place in Benton this time. See your coach for further details on times, costs, etc.
Our Kids BJJ testing will be the FIRST THURSDAY IN JUNE! I am very excited about this testing. We have some of the more advanced kids testing for belts, and many of our newer members testing for tips. After your outstanding performance in the tournament, I can't wait to see what you bring to testing! Keep up the good work. Hot Springs Kids will do their testing with the Benton testing, so train hard!
Classes are filled with new folks! Please take the time to introduce yourselves to your new training partners and get to know them. Let's help build their game and get them on track and focused on their goals. We'll soon have to add even more classes!
We have a lot of upcoming events as far as training camps and competitions. We will have some in house events coming up shortly as well. Be listening in class next week for information.
Monday is Memorial Day and we'll be closed for the occasion.

Wow, way to start the week off! We had the most excellent kickboxing class tonight, followed by a great BJJ class. It's back to basics this week, so that makes it a great week for all of you new folks.
The LDMA Women's camp was a huge success and lots of fun! It was filled with BJJ and Kickboxing and women from various states as far as Illinois.
This upcoming weekend we have our annual LDMA MMA camp! It's going to be a lot of fun. We'll probably listen to the Never Back Down soundtrack, and watch lots of Red Belt, and for sure we'll have our Tap Out shirts on! It wouldn't be complete without the TapOut MMA bed set! JUST KIDDING!
Speaking of LDMA, next time you're out at the store, pick up a copy of BLACK BELT Magazine.
You'll find an excellent article by Danny Dring! Now when he's not promoting the sport, coaching his world champion Kickboxing team, or teaching class, he's writing for major magazines.
The Next MMA fights will be JUNE 13!
On the REVOLUTION front:
The first Saturday in June we'll have a BJJ Testing/ Workshop. It will be several hours of advanced spider guard techniques followed by an evaluation for those who are ready. I will give you some notice that this is going to be an exciting evaluation, and ALL BLUE BELTS please attend. Our BJJ workshop will be followed by a kickboxing Workshop/ Testing. We'll be covering some footwork and some blocking and sparring components. Cost and details are announced each class.
It's good to see everyone getting some sparring in after Kickboxing classes. I see a lot of improvement coming along from everyone.
Custom Sparring gear is all but sold out and it's not even here. If you want some, get in on it now!
Our Advanced BJJ class is now on Thursdays. Please see Jory if you are an advanced student and wish to attend. If you are not an advanced student and wish to attend, COME TO CLASS AND TRAIN EVERY DAY! It's the only way.....
Kids BJJ testing is the FIRST THURSDAY IN JUNE! It's going to be a lot of fun! Maybe if you train hard I'll have a surprise for you!
Remember Wednesday is family day, bring your dad or mom, brother or sister.
See you tomorrow everyone! Keep up the good work!

It's been a good week. Kickboxing was so packed in here Thursday! Great job everyone. I'm excited about the extra sparring sessions we've added to the classes. They will compliment our advanced class well.
We have a Kids BJJ and Adult Kickboxing testing coming up in June. Keep training hard and stay focused on your goals.
Adult BJJ also has many new folks in. We have an advanced class for you blue belts now. We hope to see you there as we continue learning advanced techniques and strategies.
Women's Camp is this weekend, and May 15-17 is the MMA Camp. It sounds like it will be a lot of fun this year.
On a separate note:
Art's Wife has opened a new salon off of I-30. It's called Utopia Salon. Go check it out!
Also, Bonsai gives Happy Hounds in Bryant 2 paws up for making him look terrific. He got a fancy hair cut, his nails fixed and a bandana. If you have a dog that needs grooming, go see Bobby's wife Phesha at Happy Hounds!

Please take time to introduce yourselves to the new folks you may not know.
